Having been raised in Palo Alto CA, a very affluent and respectable area, I grew-up different than most childhood stories; born Half-Asian, well educated in several foreign languages, and taught to always mind my manners.

 

I enjoyed spending time with my mother, who introduced me to photography and inspired me to appreciate women for all their inner and outter beauty. She opened my eyes to fashion and haute couture through her vast collection of fashion magazines. Regrettably, photography was a passion I was only able to dabble-in on rare occasions, focusing rather on more important things in life.

 

After three decades, I reopened my life to the benefits that photography offers, on personal as well as creative levels. I enjoy finding that distinct beauty in every woman, from the mousey Cashier Girl at the coffee shop to the Executive rushing between meetings.

 

Through "A Preppy Photography", I express my vison of beauty how I see it,

as an opportunity to experience true beauty and high class for even a moment.
